Danelle Richie

Danelle Richie is a native Charlottean with a love of music that goes back to elementary school when she started playing violin in her school’s orchestra. Music has always been a focal point in her life, expanding to a love of musical theatre and live music experiences.

Over the course of the decade Danelle has been with the Academy, she’s enjoyed watching students of all ages grow in their skill set, develop friendships, and contribute to the community in positive ways. On why music matters, she says, “Music is a universal language that can unite people in ways they don’t even recognize. It spans across ages, genres, and geography. Not many things can do that, but music always does.”

Danelle enjoys concerts, sports, reading, hiking, and exploring new places. She also loves going to movies, museums, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends.
