Kade Fritzler

Kade Fritzler is an active actor, director, vocalist, musician, and teaching artist who brings a wealth of hands-on theatrical experience and a deep passion for performance to the Charlotte Academy of the Arts teaching team. Originally from Colorado, where he worked extensively with organizations such as Northern Colorado Performing Arts and Candlelight Dinner Playhouse, Kade is thrilled to now connect with and inspire the vibrant arts community here in Charlotte. He most recently served as the music director for Aristocats Kids at Matthews Playhouse for the School of Theatre.

With a background in musical theatre, vocal performance, acting, directing, and electric bass, Kade approaches teaching from the perspective of a well-rounded performing artist. His training in musical theatre at the University of Northern Colorado, years of private vocal study under master instructors, and extensive experience both onstage and behind the scenes allow him to help students develop not only strong technique, but also confidence, creativity, and a genuine connection to their craft.

As a voice teacher, Kade focuses on healthy vocal technique, musicality, vocal placement, sight-reading, and performance storytelling. Whether working with an 8-year-old discovering their voice, a teenager preparing for auditions, or an adult looking to refine their technique, he is dedicated to meeting every singer exactly where they are.

In acting coaching, Kade helps performers make specific, honest choices by exploring character, circumstances, objectives, relationships, and storytelling. His goal is to help actors feel more confident, present, and connected onstage while developing practical tools they can apply to auditions, rehearsals, and performances.

Kade also teaches electric bass, helping students build a strong foundation in rhythm, technique, fretboard knowledge, musicianship, and playing confidently with other musicians. Whether a student is picking up the bass for the first time or looking to strengthen their existing skills, lessons are tailored to their musical interests and individual goals.

Across every discipline, Kade believes the best learning happens when strong fundamentals are paired with curiosity, encouragement, and fun. His goal is for students to leave each lesson not only more skilled, but more confident and excited about making art.
