Cancellation

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the event will receive a full refund. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable. This event requires a minimum number of registered participants to run. If minimum enrollment is not met, the event will be canceled and families will receive a full refund. Charlotte Academy of the Arts may also cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, in which case families will receive a full refund or the event will be rescheduled.

Media Release

Photos and videos may be made by a Charlotte Academy of the Arts staff member during the PopArts event. These images may be used in promotional materials, on our website, and on our social media without compensation.

Liability Waiver

In the event of a medical emergency, staff will attempt to contact the parent/guardian and are authorized to seek emergency medical treatment if the parent/guardian cannot be reached. Any resulting medical costs are the responsibility of the family.

Please leave valuables at home. Charlotte Academy of the Arts is not responsible for lost or damaged personal items.

Allergies

Pizza and snacks will be served. A gluten-free pizza option is available on request. Participants are asked to bring refillable water bottled. All food allergies and dietary restrictions must be listed on this form. Families with significant dietary needs should send appropriate food with their child.

Behavior

Children are expected to follow staff instructions, treat others with respect, and handle art supplies and facility property responsibly. If a child's behavior poses a safety concern or is repeatedly disruptive, staff will contact the parent/guardian, who may be asked to pick the child up early. No refund will be issued for early dismissal due to behavior.
