Come explore one of musical theatre’s most powerful concepts: the show-stopping moment near the end of act two where everything changes. We’ll sing and craft and it’s all inspired by one of the most beloved musicals in history. You’ll even get a sneak peek at our PopArts Season 2!
What to expect
You’ll spend the evening learning what makes a truly great musical theatre performance, using “Tomorrow” to practice the vocal techniques that turn a good singer into an unforgettable one: breath support, emotional truth, and the kind of delivery that gives a room goosebumps. In between, you’ll design your very own Annie playbill to take home as a keepsake.

Class details
PopArts happens on the second Friday of every month, 5–9pm. This month we’re wrapping up Season One in style with a full Annie experience — vocals, crafting, pizza, the movie, and a sneak peek at what’s coming next.
What’s included
$40 gets you the full PopArts experience — arts event, pizza dinner (gluten free option available), and movie included. Be sure to bring a refillable water bottle.
Prefer to skip dinner or bring your own? Grab a $30 ticket and still enjoy the arts portion and the movie.
Cameryn Bost
Music and Musical Theatre Teacher
Cameryn Bost is an educator and performer in the Charlotte/Indian Trail area. She currently teaches at Chantilly Montessori as their Music and Theater teacher. There, she has directed many musicals and performances. Cameryn has been nominated for two years in a row as the Up & Coming Arts Educator of the Year for CMS Schools. She is also the Interim Director of Children's Music at Covenant Presbyterian Church in Charlotte. Cameryn also has an impressive performance resume of both musical theatre and opera. Some favorite roles include Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family, Christine in The Phantom of the Opera, Young Cosette in Les Miserables, Cecilia/Beatriz in Behold the Man, Hannchen in The Cousin from Nowhere, and Charity in Barnum. When not teaching, Cameryn spends her time reading, performing, and hanging out with her cat. Cameryn has worked with the Academy for several years now and is looking forward to this summer and PopArts!Let’s be honest...

From 5 to 9pm on the second Friday of every month, your child is in great hands creating, moving, singing, making friends, and experiencing the arts in a way that’s genuinely fun, not forced. No phones or iPads. No scrolling. Just real connection, real creativity, and a really good time.
We built PopArts because kids deserve more evenings like this where they’re engaged, inspired, and surrounded by other kids. Because the arts are best experienced together, not alone on a couch.
