Salvatore Pecorella

Director of Administration

Salvatore Pecorella, our Director of Administration, has served Charlotte Academy of the Arts since December of 2010. Salvatore has been a dedicated anchor for the studio’s operations. His musical roots began in the 5th grade and deepened through five years of performing with an NFL drumline, PurrCussion, an experience that forged his belief in the grit, precision, and stamina necessary to master any craft. He operates under the philosophy that arts education is a vital, character-building discipline that demands a level of commitment rarely found in today’s environment. A resident of the Charlotte area for over 30 years, Sal remains deeply invested in the local community, spending his time outside the Academy leading the Ames Street walk/run club.
