CAM will be holding a food drive from November 28th until December 9th. All food collected will be placed in the backpacks of children in need at Clear Creek Elementary School, as part of the Backpacks of Love program. Through Backpacks of Love, children are provided with weekend food on Fridays. Many of these children would not have a meal between Friday and Monday if not for this incredibly important program.
Please bring your non-perishable food donations to our Winter Concerts this weekend or to your lesson anytime between now and December 9th. There will be a collection box near our Front Desk. Here is a list of some of the most needed items at this time:
- Dinner meats such as beef stew, chili, chicken and dumplings, spaghetti, ravioli, lasagna, beefaroni
- Lunch items such as canned tuna, Vienna sausages
- Small containers of vegetables
- Standard size cans of fruit
- Small bowls of applesauce
- PopTarts
- Packs of snack crackers (such as Ritz Stacks)
- 16 oz. jars of peanut butter
