2026-27 Mainstage Production Policies and Procedures(Required)

Enrollment

The Charlotte Academy of the Arts (CAA) Summer Mainstage Production Enrollment Form and acceptance of CAA policies must be received in order for production enrollment to be secured. CAA reserves the right to cancel any production in which the minimum enrollment is not attained.

Tuition & Fees

Tuition: The tuition is $450.00.

Costume Fee: A $60.00 costume fee is due at the time of enrollment and is non-refundable. This fee covers the cast t-shirt and a portion of the costume pieces needed for the show.

Processing: The remaining balance (tuition) is processed the evening prior to the audition date.

Refunds & Withdrawals: The last date to withdraw and be eligible for a tuition refund (excluding the non-refundable costume fee) is prior to the tuition charge. Full refunds will be issued in cases of insufficient enrollment that result in the cancellation of a production.

Attendance

All performers, whether leading role or ensemble, are an integral part of each production and performance. Each day of rehearsal is essential to the success of the show.

Absences: If a cast member misses more than 1 day of rehearsal, or the final dress rehearsal, they may be removed from the scenes covered at their missed rehearsal, per the director’s discretion.

Punctuality: Cast members must arrive on time each day, and no more than 15 minutes prior to the start of each rehearsal.

Dismissal

CAA reserves the right to dismiss any cast member due to frequent absences, disciplinary problems, overdue payments, and/or parent noncompliance with CAA policies.

Food & Drink

Hydration: Cast members must bring a refillable water bottle to each day of camp.

Media Release

Any photographs, audio, and videos of students/families at Charlotte Academy of the Arts facilities/events may be used in promotional publications, social media pages, and press releases without compensation. To exempt your student, parents must notify CAA in writing prior to or at the time of registration.
